Acid Splash Designs Survey

Hey guys sorry for posting this in general gear, I just want more input on it.
So I'm thinking about developing a pedal for Acid Splash, and want some input on what you would be interested in.
So right now I'm trying to find someone to team up with for this development, so if you know someone, there might be a free pedal in your future.
I want to make something that would be useful, not just rehash old ideas.
I'm a bass player, but I feel like there is enough in the way of pedals for bass players and honesty for guitar players too, but you always get that feeling that something is lacking. I know I do. What is it for you? What keeps you from purchasing that pedal you've always wanted? Beside money.
I just would hate to put a bunch of money into development and find out it's something no one wants. hahaha. So who better to ask than my fellow fuzz brothers? Any input is appreciated. Even if it's "I don't think you ought to do it".
Thanks guys!

You totally oughta do it!
I always say the same thing over and over and over again, but that's because it's true: I want a true parallel fuzz. Aen is getting on one flavor out with the BDSM (parallel TP/AE and Ruiner! Holy carp!). Devi tried with the Silver Rose. But we need more options! More!
Also, whatever you develop should have a dedicated mids control with some serious sweep. I don't need any more scoopedy tones, personally.

Could not agree more with jrmy. Parallel fuzz, and more interesting tone options than "mids or no mids".

Pretty much what jrmy said, but also, modulation with custom waveshaping abilities (ala the Hollow Earth) and tap-tempo input.

Wouldn't a parallel fuzz be limiting? That is to say, wouldn't it be better to buy a utility pedal that can run any pedals in parallel so you are not limited to what this one builder decided to put together? I guess if space is a consideration then it makes sense. But if you have the room it seems limiting.
I would like some sort of lofi filter pedal with cv inputs on as many parameters as possible, or at least the option to have them. Also, the graphic should be a dalmation sitting on a giant dill pickle.

I completely agree but I'm lazy as hell and I assume there are some fun features that might only make sense with 2 specific circuits in a box so it's designed to sound awesome.

If you are doing parallel fuzz, which you should, put a switchable crossover in it, with an order switcher. That way it is like a regular parallel fuzz, then wen you step on the crossover switch you could send your bass to a tight fuzz and the treble to a woolly synthy fuzz. Then use the order switcher if you want it routed the other way. Choose two really simple and different fuzzes to save on the complexity (given the crossover and shit). That way it's cool for bassists and guitarists.
Or, if doing a straight parallel fuzz, make one side a fuzz that cleans up super well, so you could set it up like a slightly dirty clean blend, or a massive parallel fuzz. Like the arc flash - that goes from boost to fried bacon at the ten of a knob.
Also, steal Brian's fuck crackle because it's the best and I want it in all my pedals.
Another idea: expression pedal controlled voltage sag.

Also a wonderful compliment in disguise...

Just so you know. I do have a developer for this already. A well known builder.
