That's an homage to those old Fender ad campaigns.

also the octave divider is the shit and you should get one.

edit: dammit, those are pretty sweet discounts and now i want a backup octave divider too.....CHANKGEEEEEEEEEEEZ

I'd love it if he reissued the Bi-Phase (as I sadly had to sell the one I had). I'm also kinda hesitant to grab a Prophecy Sound version. I have a feeling it doesn't quite sound the same as the real thing. I don't know if he intends to though. Not sure there's enough of a market for it. Hope there is. If he's gonna, I'd think they'd probably do a regular sized Phasor first.

I've got an original Octave Divider. Interested in hearing what he's done to improve it though.

right, i've got an original, and picked up the infanem faye's her as a back up which turned out to be happily an altogether different animal. i'm also sort of doubtful of the hype surrounding the prophecy sound version, but I do get alot of mileage out of my infinitphaser so I know it would still be a great sounding pedal...but i dont REALLY need two not quite backups. well, i do NEED them, but i havn't quite worked out the rationalization part yet. thankfully the waiting list is long and slow going and non-binding.

Well I've got the prophecy sounds biphase..I think it sounds pretty great. I don't have an original biphase but I have no complaints it is quite different sounding than my infinit or whetstone.

Yeah, I'm not saying the Pi-Phase doesn't sound great. From the clips I've heard, I'm sure it does. Nothing against Prophecy, they're totally legit. I'm just concerned it doesn't sound exactly like a Bi-Phase. Then again, there's no saying that if Mike Beigel builds an updated take on the Bi-Phase, it'll sound just like the old ones either.

thats my concern too, i want that "vintage" tone is the only way to put it. of course having the same features/functions is of the most importance...but it has to have the tone is what i'm looking for...and really, in my experience with numerous other pedals no clone comes close to nailing that elusive tone. there was alot of hype that the pi-phase gets there and no doubt its going to sound great....i wish somebody who lived near me had one to check out is the bane of my existence.

Well, if you're ever in St. Louis, I think Holy Schnikes has a Pi-Phase.

After their initial release, I just haven't heard that much about the Pi-Phase. Like for instance, there still aren't any YouTube demos if it.
