Right after Post Teens dropped off of this tour we were in the running for direct support. Once again we got fucked.

Not coming anywhere near RI. That's what I get for missing 'em when they were practically playing my backyard (exaggeratedly speaking).

Argh. I was so bummed that I couldn't make it out to your show. Prior obligations and all of that biz. If nothing else, I would have bought you a beer.

RI is such a weird state about live music - has been ever since I got here in '97. I can't put my finger on it, but amazing shows that sell out for multiple nights in Boston (just 45 minutes away) barely draw here. While I love a lot of things about where I live, that causes me some serious frustration.
