Shows/Touring Resource Thread

So was talking with the dudes in my band after rehearsal at Denny's last night and things are going pretty well as far as us getting along and writing music and we all kind of want the same things. One of those is to do a small tour in a year or two.

This got me thinking about all the great people on here who we could play shows with and shit and I figured even though we aren't touring or playing shows out of our local area for a while, this could be a good resource for everyone. I don't think I've seen a thread like this but I could be wrong. Suppose it's kinda similar to the post your gigs thread but whatever. For the record, we eventually want to do some Midwest shows and hopefully make it to Austin or something but this is a long ways away for us.

So if you're trying to play a show somewhere, need a place to stay or just want to hang out with fellow ILFers, this would be the place :thumb:

Oh and if anyone ever needs a spot to crash or to borrow some gear or whatever in Minneapolis, I'm always available :thumb:

Great thread idea.

If anyone needs gear, place to sleep, or venue recommendations in SW VA, hit me up!

Also, it may be cool for ILFers who have the capability to do house shows/are tight with their local venues to put a word in here.

Yeah I can't personally do house shows but I know people who can and I'll be playing at them in the fall for sure. So Midwest dudes, lets figure something out!

You guys rehearse at a Denny's? That's GENIUS! Perfect way to ease the mid-practice munchies.

But seriously, I'm always happy to help out with shows in RI. I can't volunteer crash space, or house shows, but am always happy to point people in the direction of decent venues, make connections with what booking people I know, and suggest local bands to contact (heck, if the timing works out, my band might be able to help out with a show).
