I like the concept. Not recommended at all if you've trouble dealing with your G.A.S though. Trying all these new pedals is bound to make you G.A.S.

plus we're losing money trading and buying to test

As soon as I have a job I'm probably going to sign up for this. I easily spend more than $40 a month when I'm buying and selling things.

I am a little sad it wasn't something like this but for pedals:

If I just didn't buy what I wanted (generally from places with return policies) I could see it useful.

But as it stands, seems pretty expensive overall given the fact you don't have much control over what you're getting.

Might be more useful if I didn't already have a few dozen things to play with as well.

MEH! I'm not interested in this. Especially since people fuck things up on free tourboxes. Can you image what they'll do when they actually pay to use a pedal? They'll tour with it for a month, half way destroy it and you'll get it after that. At least that's what I could see happening. It's a nice idea, but at the same time, I think it's fucking stupid. lol

could go a lot of ways, but they seem cool. and emailed back that they would check out SS/BS and Fuzzhugger.

think once they get a few more brands up, I'll check it out. need to do a lot of testing and this will help a/b stuff. and not regret shit I do so much on here.

They seem to test pedals everytime they get them back before they send them back out.

I agree, I think that is easily the biggest weakness here

+1. the monthly price sucks too. wait a few months and buy something then sell it if you don't wanna keep it.

Buy used and flip or trade, it'll only cost you the shipping. I did that for years with pedals and even guitars at some point - sometimes, if you're lucky, you can even make a profit! For $15-20/month, I'd defo subscribe though, because their catalog is probably more interesting than the vast majority of the used market and it sounds fun.
