Random Pitch-bend/Modulator Pedal?

Hi friends.
I don't exactly know what this is or how to describe it, and I used to know a lot more about pedals than I do now, but I'm wondering if there is a pedal that does random pitch bends either up or down or both at the same time.
Something like a Whammy, I guess, just doing the bends itself, but RANDOMLY so there isn't any sort of pattern or reason to them.
Maybe I'm just making shit up here, but ideally there would be knobs for:
1. Degrees of pitch bend
2. Randomness occurrence
3. A mix knob so you could have the clean signal still coming through if you wished
Mostly I just want SLIIIIGHT pitch bends like you would get from tape, like only a half step down and less... like juuuuust bending to create some dissonance.
Ok thanks.

Particle is dope for this, combine it with a Digitech PDS and a Boss PS6 and you'll get some weird shit. The PS6 doesn't track amazingly well on chords or bass so you get little pitch jumps here and there. Or you could always get an Arpanoid and use the random setting and blend it in. Less control over how much pitch bend there is though.

Doesn't the clarinet or pitch pirate do something like this? I may be wrong, but I seem to recall it had the crazy tape modulation pitch jumping stuff.
And also, holy shit that Cutting Room Floor! GAS ignited.

The Particle looks alright but I'm wary of pedals that have toooooooo many options... lots of unusable stuff if I may be so bold.
I've had bad experiences with Recovery pedals and am not interested in those. But thanks.
Really the thing that got me going was the random modulation in the Meet Maude delay, and some interesting stuff I can do with an eBow and Whammy and loop pedals... but I wanted something that could do all that by itself while I'm playing piano/keyboard.

Most of the Particle settings I've come across have been quite usable and it's pretty intuitive to dial in. Might have a lot of stuff you don't use but that doesn't really get in the way of anything in my experience. Arpanoid combined with a Particle would get you a lot of weird pitch bends and shifts. You can still use the Particle as a normal delay too.

If you could mod the pitch pirate to accept an external lfo you could use a copilot broadcast to randomly modulate stuff. But now that I think about it, maybe that'd be too "regular". Email Adam at copilot anyway and see if he has any ideas - dude is a machine at creating crazy pedals.

This is a good idea, Adam is the perfect dude to talk to about this.

Can attest that the partical is dope. Even if there are a lot of modes you coukd just stick to the one and play with the others for fun.
On the cheaper side of things, you can also try a memory boy with square wave mod set really shallow, then slowly sweep the rate with an expression pedal. The square wave mod on that pedal sounds so sweet.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I wish there was something a bit simpler. I'm surprised that there isn't a vibrato pedal that does random shifts. Or whatever.
Wonder if I could get a Pitch Pirate to do random stuff. HMMMM.

It doesn't do random. The LFO modulates the delay time, which modulates the pitch. What makes the pitch pirate special is that the LFO can swing over 1,5 octaves and it can go from sine to square wave modulation (and anything in between). And it is slightly lo-fi. Haha, it's mid-fi. It's a completely rad pedal, one of my all time favourites, but it's not in the slightest random.

Holowon Tape Soup is closer I think. Never played it but Pumpkin Pieces knows Tape Soup. You can hit him up or check out his epic demo.

What about getting a pedal with the vibrato controlled by an photo eye thing, and using an LFO to vary the sensitivity of the LDR? Then use ambient lighting to control how wacky it gets.
Damn... that could be so crazy it just might work. Shame I know nothing about building effects.

The Sonic Crayon Vessels End vibrato does exactly this but it's very rare.

Doesn't the Seppuku Kassette do this? Kinda?
