Le Rat

I haven't been jiving with my Rat pedal recently, so I modded it so I can switch between the regular clipping diodes and 2 3mm yellow leds. Pretty great! Sound more open and raw, less like a fuzz on extremegain settings. Threw an adjustable ruetz mod in there too, kinda useless, I keep it on one setting all the time, right around stock.
Thinking about doing more adjustable mods, just because I can't leave well enough alone.
You guys have any cool rat mods you like?
What do you stack it with?

I posted this in the pedalboard thread yesterday, but here it is again.
Rat is unmodded and I just got it yesterday.
But I love the tried-and-true rat -> muff sound, as far as stacking goes.

Been trying out different chips in the RAT I recently made myself. Right now I have a TL081 in it. Realized today that I accidentally read two cap values wrong when I was in a rush, I put .001uf when it should be 1uf caps in two spots. Derp

I've got a big box reissue waiting to get mod'ed. Specifically looked for the big enclosure version cause it allows more switcches and pots. It's just a pretty good modding platform, I haven't really come across any super usefull mods yet. A ruetz'd rat in front of some other dirt sounds badass, but for the money of those two cheapish peds you can easily score one nice pedal that does a similiar thing, without needing any mods.

Anyway, what I'm thinking of trying:

-Feedback loop. There's a guy on youtube with a clip that gives a pretty good idea of the random high gain goodness you can get with that. I should probably give it a footwitch and a pot too, should be sweet.

-Fat switch. Just need to figure out how the proco guys did it on the newish phat rat. It supposedly beefs up the low end without sacrifising too much gain, unlike the popular Ruetz mod.

-I might copy the Fat Rat's clipping switch as well, with the Mosfet+Germanium option.

I'm realizing that I should have waited and got a rotary switch so I could switch between a ton of different clipping options, Oh well. I started putiing an eq pedal in front of my rat, with the vol on the eq all the way up. Sounds pretty zesty. My Russian muff doesn't seem to play well with rat though.

A fat switch sounds dope.
I wish I had the big box, my small box rat makes it hard as shit to fit switchs and pots in it
