Anyone heard anything about the Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop overdrive? I just learned of their existence today, and am fairly intrigued. And they're at Analogue Haven for pretty darned cheap:

I noticed this as well, I'd like some more info. I'd be sweet if someone modeled a distortion after the tone in "floyd The Barber."

D'oh! I thought the soundclips were copied over onto AH... the Fairfield site has clips:

Review + more clips here:

A lowgain/clean boost OD in the vain of a few others on the market, though apprently sounds nothing like the others. "Your amp but louder" or "your amp pushed over the edge" etc...
I'm happy with my Tim, though I'd like to see a few more good demos of the barbershop.

Yeah, that's where I initially caught wind of it. I like that site, but I agree that they do seem to like everything they review - I'm not sure whether that's because they only review stuff they're into, or because they're of the "well, it could sound good to someone," school of pedal relativism.

When I first saw the title I thought a new barber pedal, then oh-oh a barber clone.
Doesn't seem to be super special or that much different than what's out there already.
I'd really have to play with one to decide.
