So, this is going to sound lame, but I am looking for something to put in the Fuzz Lab for me to sit on whilst I play. I'm leaning towards a bar stool, padded of course. Anyone else play seated? Any suggestions?

i'm honestly interested to hear what people say. i've been throwing out my back a bit lately. i've been sitting on the edge of my crap couch. and one of those cube storage holders. not the best.

Stool is a good choice.

Armless rocker is another.

I sit while playing a lot (not playing shows). Things without arms are ideal of course. This is what I have currently...

It gets awkwardly tall but it's good lowered all the way. Not padded but the contours work pretty well.

and I used to have some of these...

I like sitting on my bed leaning against a pillow.
But then I fall asleep and wake up spooning the guitar.

Either of Jero's suggestions would work well i think.
I always found swivel/office chairs really uncomfortable for guitar, same with couches or anything big that makes it awkward to hold the instrument without it rubbing against anything.

I usually sit on the floor. If I don't sit on the floor, I have a half-sized stool that I use (I also use it on my building bench)

I need to find something to sit on that doesn't bend my picking wrist at a weird angle. My wrists flare up real quick when im sitting.

About half the time i play seated with my pedals on a Table or Laptop stand. Perfect for tweaking.
I use cheap all wooden chairs (sitting on hard wooden surface rules). Also drummer chairs and foot stools are nice to have around.

BTW, we a thread like this a while back. Rfurtkamp maybe remembers; he had a lot of suggestions.

Bar stools are great for it I think. Nothing to get in the way of the instrument, comfy if they have a cushion. No advice on specific ones but I doubt any would be particularly bad. :idk:
