What are the general opinions on Tommy's Tonebender MKIi. Looking for a MKII...don't mind spending some coin for a good build, but would rather avoid DAM and Sola Sound prices.

Sorry nothing to say about Tommy, but Acid Fuzz Tone Bender mkII is NICE. Very rich. and reasonably priced. I got one with external bias knob adjustment and fat switch.

I'm a fan of Lumpy's. The build quality is really good.....I would said better than the Acid Fuzz posted above.

I had the Liquid Lead Deluxe first.....random eBay GAS splurge. It was pretty sweet.......really dig that cranked Marshall gain.....I wouldn't call it dead on Zep tones, but definitely in that vein. has a built in boost with 2 settings that sounded great.

Then snagged a ZII. For the price, I don't think you can beat it. Does a similar tone, but more fuzzy and a bit more flexible.

Sold the LLD, and ordered an Albion Deluxe.....which is just an updated LLD. It definitely sounded better......little less raw and more ability to dial it in to my liking.

Overall they're sweet spots are from clean=ish to medium gain tones. They can both do higher gain, but it's more of a vintage style.....as in, it's not a big fat chugger or anything.

The voicing of these pedals are what make them special. Just right.

Also extremely easy to work with. I have no doubt they'd bend over backwards for you to remedy any issues you probably won't have.

I have a Lumpy's pedal, although not that one, but the build quality and looks are excellent.

I sell a Sharptone Tone Bender MkII Professional. It sounds great - I personally have two of them. Sorry for plug.
