Seems like everyone who has one loves them?
Sort of considering a massive sell off to try to fund one. What do I need to know.
Mianly want for this

That's a good enough reason as any.

it's limited in a way that if you can embrace eno-like, oblique stratigies thinking, then go for it.
i'm deployed overseas with just my op-1 and i'm having a pretty okay time with just that, tho i miss my modulars and pedals.

lol if u check ohpeewon.com, sometimes it seems like everyone wants to get rid of theirs!
its not without its quirks, but thats part of the charm. it took me awhile to start using the whole thing, but now i would never leave home without it.
so much fun, look for a good price on a used one.

I'm thinking I can get $500-$575 with what I can possibly part with, so I am hoping that will cover it, used. I think it will go a long with my ipad as my set up.
I'm a synth noon and it's ability to cover keys and sequencing and midi controller all in one is helpful.

I've been having an on and off massive G;.A.S for one because it seems like exactly the kind of little tool that I'd love to use for composing, recording and live use. It would be kinda redundant with what I do with my iPad though.

^the op1 actually goes together w/ the ipad really well. they compliment each other nicely, and interface with each other rather easily (w/ the camera connection kit)
