I totally understand when people don't like this band. But MAN. I Fucking love this band so much.

yeah, grew up going to blood brothers shows in this city. saw this band a lot when i was 16-21

Me too! Pretty much every time they came to Atlanta. I would definitely consider them my favorite band.

And Showbox has the best sound in the city, IMO. Hope it doesn't get moved to Sodo as tends to happen too often.

This. Young Machetes was so diverse, as were their respective bands after the breakup. If they could go Past Lives route but thrashier, I'd be pretty happy.

I read an interview saying that they had no plans to make any new music, but we'll see.

I just hope they play somewhere close enough that I can actually go. Right now the closest show is FFF in Austin with a bunch of other great bands, but it just doesn't seem realistic for me to go. I feel like their ATL shows were always nuts. Hopefully they remember us.

I want to go. But I'll probably forget when tickets go on sale, and miss out once it's sold out. It's even on Friday. Damn. I blew it, guys.
