1 spot reverse polarity adapter works both ways?? (+ to -)

maybe dumb question, but if i have a center positive power plug, and i use a 1 spot reverse polarity adapter, will it make the plug center negative?

in my head, i think it works cuz you're basically just flipping the wires w/ the 1 spot adapter?

is there a way to check the polarity w/ a multimeter or something?

Yeah, that's what the adapter is for. I've done it and it works fine. I've read you can only do one polarity at a time. No daisy chaining with some + and some -. Too scared to test it though.

yea this is a good idea. gunna try it w/ a cheap ped in case in blows up on me.

cool, thats fine. i'm not gunna use it w/ a daisy chain. its for changing the polarity of a USB battery from center positive to center negative so I can get some portable action going on.

so i tested it w/ a behringer pedal and it seemed to work fine so I got a little more ballsy and tested it w/ my SP and it seems to be a go as well!

Yup! Put the red probe inside the barrel, and touch the black one to the outside. A center-positive plug will read 9V and a center-negative will read -9V. If you flip the probes the other way, it's the opposite.
