I really like this track on the new JW record. I apologize in advance to all of you who don't share my taste in music. I was working out the song earlier and felt like my analogman peppermint fuzz sounded pretty close. Anyone want to offer an opinion on how to get that fuzz sound?

EQD Terminal, from my experience, could get you there

Not sure about the song. He def had big muff at some time. Whatever it is, at parts of course were in conjunction with the pog or whammy.

Pretty sure it's a Wooly Mammoth, but it could easily be the TMR Bumble Buzz.

I think you are right. Must be the bumble fuzz. $300 is a lot of $$ for something with no knobs. I could get a seriously special twosome for that price which I am seriously thinking about doing right now.

Plenty of affordable sputtery gated fuzzes out there that should be able to get that tone, and more.

Maybe try something like a Mastotron, wooly mammoth, red witch fuzz god II, zoom uf-1, Dwarfcraft Shiva, DE Godzilla,...ect?
