That's not an amp, that's a pedal through a console or straight into the computer.
Try all your drive / fuzz pedals straight into your computer and I'm pretty sure you'll get that sound with a few of them.

That was my first guess to actually. It's usually the exact opposite of what most people aim for when they play through a tube amp or record through a modelr of some sort, but if it's your thing, you might want to try going through the cranked preamp of an old 4 track tape recorder, straigh to a computer or power amp. Or just a gnarly fuzz pedal with the gain at 11, or the combination of both. There's thing you could try, but I'd say going straight in a mixer is definatelly the key thing here.

It kinda reminds me of my old walkman that I converted to a headphone amp. With the little eq and the volume cranked you could hear the headphones crap out. It doesn't get more lofi than that:)

I definitely thought this was going to be a My Chemical Romance thread.

my guess is that this is a keyboard direct into the board. bmsr and tobacco are mainly electronic.

Me three.

Agreed with the people saying direct to recording device though. A gated fuzz pedal straight into a mixer should get something like this.

No. It's the opposite of the opposite. You're trying to find it using the right Way, but to get the sound you seek you need find it using the wrong Way.

not saying it it, but it sounds a bit like the fuzz tone of the Pignose 7-100 to me.
