On a side note, I have a friend who apprenticed as a luthier under Carl Thompson, but he left to do his own thing right before Claypool made CT basses so well known, so he never got to meet Mr. Prawn Song.

It was made even more surreal for me in that my toddler was watching Barney while I was trying to listen to the video on crappy laptop speakers at the same time... purple dinosaur in one ear & Mr. Claypool in the other... altogether disorienting...

saw him at the electric factory in philly like a week or two ago with those dudes....was pretty mind blowing. dont really go to a lot of shows anymore but claypool is def the man
