Swapping a Trapeze tail piece for a Stoptail?

I have an Xaviere XV910 that I've been using for a couple years now. Love the guitar, but the trapeze tail has become a bit of a nuisance. It's slightly off centered for one, and for obvious reasons it's not the best for long lasting tuning. High register strings constantly need re-done.

I've been considering replacing it with a stoptail. Just looking for advice on how to do it, and some recommendations for a decent bridge. Likely something from GFS.

The guitar is the main one I use, and it's a beater I reckon. I'm not really worried about mucking it up, as I'm pretty competent, and like I said. It's a beater. Worst case scenario, I buy a new guitar...or go back to the tele.

If it is a full hollow body like a real 330 then you are out of luck, for a stop tail there has to be wood to hold it in place, so if the guitar has a center block then yeah you drill to holes and press in you inserts and that's it. One thing you could do is find a split tailpiece like… http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Frequensato ... 4d1d366b7a
