Heading to Detroit, looking for builder

Hey everyone, I'll be up in the Detroit area in June for a friend's wedding and figured I might as well find an effect builder and buy something direct from their shop. Anyone have any recommendations?

They sell direct online but not sure if they have a physical retail shop or if he just works out of his home. You should email to arrange.

This excites me. Maybe I can get a few minutes with the mad doctor.

Yeah, sorry, but I'm back in Nashville for the next few months, and then off to Portland! As mentioned, Red Panda is just outside of Detroit. Lovepedal is also up there, and same with Egnater Amps. I feel like there are some more? If you get a chance to get out to the Waterford area, make sure you check out Motor City Guitar. Seriously one of the coolest guitar stores I've ever been to.

(Yes, I'm biased, since they sell my pedals, but that store really is incredible.)

I used to live in Waterford. I remember when MCG moved to the new location in the old theater, they destroyed Pontiac Music and Sound with their selection and set up. I'll have to go back, it's definitely been a while and it is nice to see (and do business with) an independent shop that rivals GC.

I have a few days, maybe I'll take a little effects tour.

Edit: well great, now I want a BiPolar Octadrive and a Deus Ex Machina in the same box
