Wiring a 4 conductor pup as 2

Just double checking. Do I bridge the wires going from the north magnetic to the south magnetic hot? Can I just snap these off and it'll work? I'm tryna double check before I do a pup job for a friend.

What type and brand pick-up is it...? DIfferent companies use different colored wires....

well yeah, but thats how its done. dont depend on the colors. there is a chart out there somewhere that shows what most of the major brands use. great googley moogley. should be semi easy to find.
