My new band's new dang album

SO... because everyone loves a story... here is the story of my new band... which is not entirely new...
As I've mentioned elsewhere, I've been playing music with fellow forumite Decibill for a while. Like, since 2000. When we first started playing, he was a drummer, and we had another guy on vox & guitar, while I manned the bass (& fuzz). Then our frontguy quit, but we still had gigs lined up, so we said "Why doesn't Bill try fronting the band?" since we already knew he could play guitar and sing. So he did, and it worked, and for a while, we were called ellison. First we were an indie-janglish trio with a kind of jazzy/spazzy (in a good way!) drummer, then we got a lead guitar player, and we kind of tightened up with a slightly more post-Hüsker Dü kind of thing (later Dü, though - we weren't speed demons). Then that fizzled out, so Bill and I tried our hand as a synth-rock duo, The Inclined. And that worked really well for a while - we released an album, played a bunch of shows... and then a whole bunch of stuff happened, and we kind of... stopped. So we tried to figure out what wasn't working, and decided we wanted to rock again.
SO... after a whole lot of writing, and thinking, and writing, and thinking, and recording... we're back to rocking as Monument Thief. We'd like to think that each iteration of what we do gets closer at something that accurately represents us (or at least a segment of what we want to do), and this one has a lot of late 80's to late 90's British and American fingerprints on it. Echo & the Bunnymen, Material Issue, Ride, The Breeders, The Pixies (yes, in that order)... kinda the usual suspects, probably.
ANYHOW, I'm rambling now, because who the hell knows how to talk about their own music. Anyhow, we made this, and we hope that you (or at least some of you - nothing can be everyone's cup of tea) like it:

We're also in talks with an ILFer to have a short run of purple sizzurp-colored cassettes made up. So PM me directly if you have any interest in that.
Oh, and if you're on Facebook, so are we: https://www.facebook.com/MonumentThief
