Swampy blue doom effects

Hey all. After months of searching diligently, I have finally landed 2 jam sessions with 2 drummers! Both of them are sort of blues dudes, but fairly open minded. So, I figured I'd make it sort of easy on them and play some bluesy stuff. But doomy blues. Blackened blues. And I play bass, so its gonna be all kinds of low and rumbling.
My question is this- what effects should I be looking for to make the most of this project? Fuzz, obviously. I have a couple different flavors already, probably good on all that (except maybe a marsh chapel). Also looking for a reverb. Behndy is letting me borrow his Nimbus so I can see if that's the one for me or if I need to keep searching. Also thinking of getting a looper since it will likely just be me and the drummer. Maybe a Headrush for the tape echo feature? But I feel like there's still something I'm forgetting. Any suggestions? Preferably reasonably priced.
I feel like I ask for pedal recs pretty often, so sorry if that bugs some folks.

A chorus might allow for some colour and variation in "lead" sections or different voicing for certain passages.

I've had my eye on a Polytope for a while, but who knows when I'll be able to get one. Should I give up on that for now and try a different chorus? Sea Machine maybe?
I had an EQD Hummingbird for a while but it didn't do it for me. Too synthy and cut out all my lows. Maybe a doc sci trem?
Oh, what about a univibe? For some pulsating gooey goodness?

I have only used one delay ever, boss dd-7 I think. I am a delay virgin basically. Someone should let me borrow one...

When you get the IdiotBox tourbox, you'll have the Dimension X to play with. I think you'll like that one.

oh yeah! forgot all about that. ive been looking forward to the dungeon master so much, i sort of stopped thinking about the rest. The blower box will probably be fun too, I'm just not a fan of the graphics, so my brain is immediately biased against it.

Ghost Echo for reverb. Maybe some kind of trem of phaser as well.

Sorry the Hummingbird didn't work out for you, man!
The DD-7 is a phenomenal workhorse delay and does pretty much everything one could want. I only replaced it cuz I got a great deal on a Disaster Transport. The Ghost Echo is a fantastic reverb and loves fuzz.
I think a phaser would be a good pickup. Boss PH-2 is a uniquely voiced one and usually found pretty cheap. But an MXR or Whirlwind should be perfect.

Hey no problem man! i wanted to like it but I just couldnt find a good use for it. its in transit to canada at the moment and an Ab-Synth is headed my way. i hear the Ab-Synth isnt great on bass, but we shall see.
Ive been thinking of trying a phaser too, I just don't know of any place to test one out around here.

Reasonably priced? Snag one of the $99 Delaylabs
