There are a ton of options out there. What sorts of bands/tones/songs are you into and it will be way easier to narrow it down.

Anything Blackarts Toneworks is a good start. Dunwich may be doing a new batch of stuff soon. I like my Musket. A tweaked fuzz face like a Dream Crusher can get you there as well.

Yeah some example tones would be good. I'm personally partial to a variety of EQD offerings

I really dig electric wizard's tone.
I run a blackarts toneworks revelation fuzz and ritual fuzz through a laney AOR 100
But I can't quite get that crisp and solid low ended fuzz I'm looking for

Boss FZ-2 will make everything sound like Electric Wizard. It is the pedal Jus uses for their signature sound. It is Electric Wizard incarnate.

There may still be one in the BST section.

+1 on the fz2. I've wanted one for years but still haven't grabbed one for some reason

You could buy the Behringer clone and figure out if you actually like it or not.
Hell, I'd build you something too!

I just did a sample of some electric wizard riffs on my sound cloud for new pedal demos - let me know if you wanna hear them

Pretty much any sludgy fuzz will do. I ran a lstr through it and it sounded badass.

Even though it's Muff based, Way Huge Swollen Pickle sounds like Electric Wizard to me.
It's got a razory crispness that sits well on top of the massive low end.
It cuts through a heavy mix really well, too.

LSTR would get you closer than a Ritual.
With a Revelation I personally like a Tone Bender type (like an EQD Tone Reaper) to give the lightning on top of the Black Arts thunder.

Badass amp :thumb:

An FZ2 would be perfect for that!
