Have you guys seen this?

Some really good stuff on here. Some stay fairly faithful, while others put their own little spin on it. Always good to hear anything from Daughters and These Arms Are Snakes. Those fucking bass tones on "Heart Shaped Box." I'm not even a big Nirvana guy, but I love some of the bands on this comp.
1. Pygmy Lush – “Serve the Servants”
2. Circa Survive – “Scentless Apprentice”
3. These Arms Are Snakes – “Heart-Shaped Box”
4. Thursday – “Rape Me”
5. Jay Reatard – “Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle”
6. Young Widows – “Dumb”
7. Mean Jeans – “Very Ape”
8. Thou – “Milk It”
9. Whirr – “Pennyroyal Tea”
10. Daughters – “Radio Friendly Unit Shifter”
11. Ceremony – “Tourette’s”
12. Black Math Horseman – “All Apologies”

Man, speaking of Whirr:

They got pretty mad at theavondon earlier.
They seem like they're rather dickish.
On topic, I love Nirvana and a lot of these bands.
However, I'm not really loving these songs as much.

"Milk It" is my favorite on the album though, and I enjoyed Thou's rendition of it.

Hahaha Jesus. I like Whirr OK. But they remind me of Pity Sex who I like more.
It was weird to hear Anthony Green being all grunge tough guy on Apprentice. And Thursday didn't do much with their cover. I could see myself pulling stuff from this for a playlist, but I don't know how often I would just sit and listen to this album.

Way to play the cool guy, Whirr.
I've pretty much just been waiting to get this Young Widows track. Didn't even notice there were TAAS and Daughters tracks, as well.

I miss them both! I dont think theres any bad blood in TAAS, but apparently Alexi thought the last daughters album was a big fat turd and hated being in the band, so...

I do enjoy Whirr's antics when they're ripping on that needle dropper dude, but that's about it. Would be cooler if they could back it up with a record as good as the first one too.

I definitely prefer Whirr when they're not playing their own songs.

Whirr seem like total assholes. However, their cover on this is pretty great. All I've heard is their cover, Jay Reatard's (which I love, although I'm biased as a huge fan) and Thou's which is also awesome. How is the rest?

I really liked These Arms Are Snakes, Daughters, Young Widows, Thursday, Pygmy Lush, and surprisingly, Circa Survive. So I would say pretty solid.

I was considering buying it on record store day but $28 dollars for a single LP seemed pretty steep for what it is, especially.

I'm loving the Young Widows and Daughters contributions. Daughters really nailed the wild guitar feedback/noise to perfection. Thou did a nice job with Milk It but the vocal timing on the verse is off ever so slightly and it drives me crazy. Whirr sounds pretty good as well.
