Are P-90s any kinda magic in a Strat?

I've got a Duncan vintage-style bridge position P-90 in the mail. For no damned reason except that it was super cheap.

Yes, I have a problem.
So only guitar I have that it would conceivably fit in easily is a Fernandes Strat copy with swimming pool pickup route. I could try that. Anyone gone for P-90 in a Strat? What position did you put it in? Love/like/meh/hate? Any notable trade offs?

it would be cool in the bridge position. I'm not a fan of a bridge-position strat pickup so, at least to me, that would make the guitar a lot more usable.

Kind of what you're asking about, and totally what I'm dreaming about:

It'll probably end up in the bridge position. But that makes me want to go weird in the other spots. I was gonna do three lipsticks, but lipstick neck-middle with P-90 bridge screams blooz-lawyer version oh H-S-S, which I despise. Hmm. Need to go weirder. Filtertron neck?
