Sunn amps and cabinets and ohms oh my!

In the process of acquiring a Sunn 190L and I'm also being offered two unloaded emperor 2x12s.
Could I put v30s in both the cabs and wire them up so I could use both with the Sunn, or would this not work at all and everything would explode?

The 190L probably has outs for 8 ohm and 4 ohm extension speaker. I'm guessing that the 4 ohm is on a switch like in a few sunn schematics I have which means that it is in parallel to the 8 ohm tap. This means that both taps together would be 4 but could be thought of as 8 ohm each.
The v30 would be fine to use depending upon what ohm they are rated. You want to aim to get them to both be 8 ohm and run them out of the individual jacks on the sunn. Or you could aim to have each cab be 16 ohms with a parallel jack on the cabs themselves. Then you plug one cab into the sunn and then from the cab parallel jack to the other cab. This would give you an 8 ohm load.
