More straight forward rock than anything. Kinda miss the controlled chaos sound of Mars Volta.

Yeah. Not gonna lie, I thought it was boring as hell.. No point even making a comparison to TMV because they're totally different things.
This sounds like radio rock to me but if they're happy making this music then they should go for it.

I liked the radio friendliness of Bosnian Rainbows a little, but they were always right at the edge of really becoming awesome for me. Just a little more of a push would have been fantastic.

I both comprehend and appreciate the general mediocrity of Sparta, yet I still listen to them all the time. There's no accounting for taste.
