Splawn Quick Rod and Black Arts Coven … Brutal!

Did these right quick on my lunch break. The Black Forest portion friggin rules and has me pretty close to what I wanted to get to with that Entombed/Disfear type tone. Gotta tweak some more but I think this'll fit the bill nicely.

Unfortunately there is an issue with the Pharaoh portion of the pedal so I will have to return it for another. The only bummer is that I really like this graphic and it was the last one they had. Not a deal breaker but still a little bummed.

Anyway here is a tone reference for what I am going for.

Talked to the retailer and he will ship a replacement out asap and also see about getting this one serviced quickly under warranty if I want to keep the red/black one.

The other one looks like this:

Thanks!

Nothing says "crusty metal" like business casual!

Dude, you could email Mark at BAT, it'd be quicker than going through a retailer.

I actually did and they responded very quickly. I am going to try something he recommended first and if it is still pooped, then they are going to get it fixed for me. He was very helpful and it makes me glad that I can keep this particular piece. As I said, I really like the "spooky red forest" color scheme.

THanks for the input though. This forum has proven to be extremely helpful in the few days that I have been a member.

Ah that's cool man, I was just reinforcing (what you clearly already know, and what I should have been more perceptive to) that a lot of builders like Mark and guys round here, are just super approachable. If he recommended that then that's clearly something between him and the retailer I guess.
I have an OG BF. Fucking rules, and I would not change the old school finish for anything! The blood red coven shit is amazing.

No worries. I appreciate people here looking out. Spent more time with the pedal last night and I am really looking forward to getting it fixed.

Got about 5 more fuzz's I am looking at right now.

The BAT Destroyer, Dr. Scienist Elements, EQD Zap Machine and Dirt Transmitter, Dunwich HM2 and Blackout Effectors Crystal Dagger
