Caline power supply brick thingy

A good deal I've spotted:
Caline CP-05 Pedal Power 5. Can power 10 pedals, with one at 12v and one at 18v. And 2 x reverse polarity cables.
These can be had for just £26 (incl P&P) on ebay uk.
This is simply a rebranded Joyo JF-02 Power Supply 2. The cost of the Joyo is twice of much!
NB. I don't believe the supply to the individual outputs is actually isolated power, but nevertheless.

Judging from the power plug thing it's basically just a daisy chain in a box. A big unnecessary box.

The box bit is actually very small and slim. Photos give the wrong impression.

I have a joyo version and a caline. And they aren't isolated. Was running a memory boy deluxe and a bbe tremor from the 500 ma outputs and getting clock noise and tremolo speed noise whine through my signal. Apart from that they are ok.

So basically a One-Spot in a box? Or a cheaper DC Brick? Oh, with added 12V and 18V options.

I don't see the point of non-isolated brick power supplies. It's just a waste of a good transformer. The onespot proved that switching power supplies can be awesome if they are designed right.
