I tried searching for this to see if there was already a thread, but the search function ignores the "fm" part.
So, I decided to just make a thread.
If this is wrong or if there already is one, whoops.

ANYWAY, I like last.fm a lot.
It's really cool to see charts of what I've been listening to and stuff.
If you guys don't have one, you should get one, it's neat!

If you have one, what are your top 10 artists or top 25 tracks or some shit like that.
I like numbers and data, feed me information.

Giving a top list for me is pointless because I really only use the site to searched for suff.

Oh, tight.
I joined that group now.
I wish it let you look at charts other than just the weekly ones.
But that's alright, still neat!

You can install it on your computer, and it'll run in the background and log tracks you play in iTunes or whatever.
I believe there's also a way to get it to log your youtube and bandcamp plays.

I spent a LOT of time digging for music on last.fm and rateyourmusic around 2009-2012. I can't handle those places now. Too much elitism and over-analyzing. Scrobbling makes me really self concious for some reason. It's just jamz, dudes. Just listen to what sounds good to you.

I did find some good stuff during my time there.

I dunno, I don't get into the social aspect of it at all.

It's mostly just cool to see charts of what I've liked this month or this year or whatever.
Neat to see how my tastes alternate over time.

I use my phone to listen to music everywhere so I scrobble a lot... apparently but I actually never ever look at the site or my stats anymore..... I did for a while and I feel it around because occasionally I use their "similar artists" feature.....

Haha same here! My tastes have changed a lot while I've had a last.fm account.
Lol I made that username when I felt silly for liking bands like Hawthorne Heights in middle school

I love reading the comments for bands. Nothing but shitty band plugs and butthurt whining.....

It just dawned on me the other day that I've had my account for over 7 years. Crazy.
