Seriously though, this doesn't matter but what is going on?
How is this justifiable?
So many questions...

well that is like a minty mint burst, that burst is pretty nice. i dont think ive ever seen a 60's so clean. ive seen dirty more used go for around 135,000$ in nashville, so i imagine that a minty minty mint will prob bring close to 200,000$ those pictures look way to clean to me.

It comes with "free shipping" so that was probably added into the price. Common sales tactic.

What I don't get is why they still make guitars in burst…. isn't there enough sunburst objects in the world for all by now?

The real magic of 50-60s bursts was when they were made they didn't chose woods with flames. If its a vintage burst that means it became a burst or flamed out with age. That's why the good examples fetch 6 figures because most 50-60s don't get flames, they just stay the same. It kinda makes me wonder with all these guitars made with bursts from the shop with awesome flames brand new, do they flame even more with age?

It just blows my mind, the price of some things. I could have a really, really nice house for that price.

It shouldn't enrage you that someone is trying to sell a vintage guitar for $245,000. After all, it's a free market and people should be able to ask whatever price they think they can get for an item. What should enrage you is if someone actually buys the guitar for anything close to $245,000. You could do something really positive with a quarter million that would benefit an entire community, instead of selfishly buying an over-priced status symbol to impress other horrible people.

THIS. I get that some people really do have a lot of money and they cant just shove it all in an investment portfolio of savings account, and that got to spend it to help keep the economy going strong. but fuck. That's a house!

Probably plays and sounds like shit.
Sell an old guitar, buy a new guitar and a house with the money. Yeah that guy is doing it right.
