Is it on Hitlers birthday again this year? That was fucked up.

Thank you for the notice. I will click the link and note the day as to not even venture downtown let alone near a record store that day, and for a week after.

Aside: I was just out buying records and had to hear the most completely fucking objectionable record store banter from freshjive morons who started buying records last week. Whoa Waylon Jennings LP! Look at his PLAID SHIRT HAHAHA! Whoa Johnny Cash LP! These are rare! Whoa JEFFERSON STARSHIP LPS HAHA A DOLLAR

It's weird, for some people it's not an ironic novelty.....

i got some cool shit last year, not actually on record store day, cause as usual i didn't realize it had happened, but we went on tour a week or two later and i hit a few stores and got some rsd releases that were awesome. a cool willie nelson demos record, a reissue on fancy swirly vinyl of filosofem by burzum. one or two other things that slip my mind.

this year's list looks cool. most if it is stuff i don't care about, but every country release looks awesome. i'd get that biggie on vinyl. CCR, sam cooke, the die kruezen stuff, joy division, katatonia, jack elliott, otis redding, the boss, doc watson, the waylon record for sure, david lynch cause i like his movies, harry dean stanton for the same reason, raw power, dinosaur jr. there's other shit that looks cool, but that's what jumps out at me. i'll be lucky if i can afford to buy two records, so i'll miss most of it. i'll probably get the doc watson and the waylon record if i have to choose and my favorite record store has them both.

I spent $150 on the BoC reissues the last week of 2013 and they kept getting pushed back before finally arriving last week.
So I'll head over to the local (15min away) store and check out their cassette section. Maybe trade-in something? Who knows.
Right now gear lust is outweighing my rekkid lust because I already have those 6 *new* titles to spin.

The prices on these things usually piss me off but I'd be into
Joan Baez
Steve Earle Townes covers
Flaming Lips
Husker Du
Wes Montgomery
Space Project
Velvet Underground
REM unplugged
Nick Cave/Warren Ellis
Songs: Ohia

I don't know this song but I'm way into this picture disk:
