Turn a bass preamp into an Altoids bass boost??

To preface I have never built a pedal before.
I have an Aguilar 3 band on-board preamp which I really don't care for EXCEPT the bass it can add is absolutely HUGE.
I would like to put this into an altoids tin.
What do I need to take from the preamp itself in order to make this possible? Is it even possible?
Also note the the bass is stacked with a treble in a concentric pot. Fuck this treble pot, can I get rid of it without breaking the whole thing, and how do I do this?
I had other questions but I'm so hungry I've forgotten them.....
