I don't have a wah at the moment.
But the Wilson Freaker seems awesome and the new Black Cat Mona Wah seems great too!

I like:
DeArmond
Mu-tron
Colorsound
Musonic
Boomerang
Teese
Black Cat
Tycobrahe
(Wilson seems nice, but I've never tried one)

^ Yeah, I was gonna say the Black Cat "Mona" vintage flavour, with the pot and inductor designed by Joe Gagan, sounds really, really nice. And I've always wanted to try a Boomerang - love the sound Tony Joe White gets out of his - just sounds a little different to the Cry Baby/Vox school of wah.
I've only ever had an old Cry Baby and a Vox V847, which I scored free a while back. Never quite bonded with the Vox so I just ordered a replacement Standard Wah PCB (with an output buffer to make it fuzz friendly) from Stuart Castledine, whose wahs sound ridiculously good:

Oh, yeah, good call, Horsey. I forgot Castledine. (Although, I haven't tried one of his either yet.)
You're also making me wanna post my favorite Tony Joe White tune:

ZVex Vexter Probe Wah (proximity controlled so no moving parts. uses a Colorsound wah circuit. and has a Super Hard-on circuit included)

I've only really tried the standard dunlop and vox ones, the tiny amt and the coloursound, and out of those the coloursound works best for me, I like the sweep. But I'm thinking about trying out something else, maybe a wilson or the black cat.

I like the Budda wah, because it's purple....

Any recommendations for some good SWITCHLESS wah's? Right now I'm using a Morley one that I really like, but I am borrowing it from a dude so if he ever wants it back I'll have to buy one. I wouldn't mind just buying the same model but Morley wah pedals are HUGE. Something in the more common wah size would be preferable.

I had a dunlop 95q for a bit and I didn't like it much. There was a delay in the effect activating when you pressed down on it that kinda killed the point of having it switchless.

When I was on my wah quest I almost bought one of these. I'm glad I didn't. I don't think it makes sense. What if you want it on and need your foot somewhere else? Not everyone plays the Kyusswah....

i have to say a good boomerang is my favorite. the rare BG1 67 non volume had a different biasing, different brand pot, different inductor - to me does sound sweeter and more 'flippy' than the BG2.
i recently tried a colorsound one trans inductorless reissue from the 90s. the parts and build quality were a little off, but , man did i like the sweep!
rumor used to say that the zvex fuzz probe wah portion was based on same circ.
very impressed with the black cat mona(s) so far, i hope i am allowed to say that since i provided some parts and design assist ( tom actually gave me too much credit in he press releases IMO)
the dunlop bonamassa wah is impressive from every aspect, the unique parts and build, the attention to detail, the looks, the tone , tripps and mcrae knocked it outta the park.
a stock off the rack gcb95 dunlop is also a great sounding very durable piece. i bet in a true blindfold test alot of people would choose it in top 3 of 10!
when i build a modded or custom wah, sometimes i compare against the gcb95 to keep my head right.

I have three at the moment:
1). Area 51 standard.
2). Wilson 6 position vintage spec Q-Wah
3). Dunlop Joe Bonnamassa Wah
The Area 51 does it for me, but the JB isn't far behind. I've owned Morley, Vox, Tech21, Shin-Ei & other Dunlop Wahs over the years and these three are my personal picks. The sweep on the Area 51 is just perfect for my tastes.

I like the old Morley Tel-Ray enormous chrome monsters. Big long sweep and more wow than wacka wacka. But the best wah I've ever heard is the one on my old Hofner Ambassador 4578wmz. 3 switches for the center of the sweep (bass, middle or treble) and a finger paddle to control it with your little finger while you play. Stupid but wonderful.
