Salvage Custom "Lost At Sea" Suitcase Board DROOL!!!

Salvage Custom makes some incredibly cool suitcase-style boards, gorgeous materials, craftsmanship, and a really cool design. Unfortunately they're HELLA expensive being custom built one by one with rare materials and so on like that. I saw this limited "Lost At Sea" board posted the other day and fell head over heels for it though I know it won't be mine. Only 6 units being made (with only 1 left currently if you're feeling fiscally irresponsible) with various size and custom options. Priced for high rollers only but I wouldn't knock anyone for spending their money on this functional piece of art if they had that kind of board budget.
Anyway, I digress. I didn't start this thread to discuss Salvage pricing, only to let others gaze upon this beautiful board and case. Take a look at their website and FB photo gallery too, tons of cool boards they've put out.
The "Lost At Sea" is crafted from some salvaged wood that apparently spent many years enduring an ocean beat down, all natural saltwater patina sealed with a thin coat of lacquer for preservation. Room for power supplies underneath, internal AC outlet, on/off mains switch, input/output jacks with Lava cable leads, patch boxes, all that good stuff. Very functional and well designed but man I'm just stuck on how it looks, so good!
The suitcase theme pushes it over the top into pure awesome land. A lacquered covered canvas case that allows the board to simply fold out with ease, detaching with breakaway latches, then folds back in just as easily latching securly. Then you walk away looking dapper as fuck. Great way to protect and transport boards though.

If you live on a coast you can find driftwood and an old suitcase pretty easily...

I've always really dug that style of board with the lid like that. That wood is pretty awesome. I think Salvage makes pretty awesome stuff although I'd have to take a loan out to pay for it. Those teal colors are beautiful

This sums up my feelings exactly.

I've already got like 12 of these. They go really well with the upholstery in my Lexus.

That is gorgeous. And, also, I would never want to own something that nice ever in my entire life, especially under the context of "gear".

I hear ya. If you ever were to go all fancy pants on a piece of gear though this could be the one for you Donny. Already looks beat to shit so any damage you inflicted would probably simply add to the cosmetic appeal.

I saw this the other day too. Holy fuck is it gorgeous but there's no way I could justify that kind of money on a board. I'd rather buy a few awesome pedals or put a down payment on a sweet guitar.
Also, wasn't there a memeber here who had a problem with Salvage a while back?

But, I have to know it's beat to shit. Simply looking like it rarely suffices.

Yeah nightterrors but I think he got his board after an extended wait

Hahaha, I just went on their website.
Saw a picture of the board with "$325" next to it, thought "Man, that's not so bad..."
Clicked on it and realized that's just the down payment.
