Acoustic 150 Guitar Amp

So a buddy of mine just landed an Acoustic 150 w/ matching 6 x 10 cab the other day. Solid state, all clean w/ reverb/trem. Appears to be in pretty good condish w/ the effects working just fine and the amp sounding pretty good. I'm considering trading my other amp I don't use currently for it (
http://ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=39043 I'd be taking cash on top) so that I could use it as an amp to really mess around w/ dirt and fuzz. I've noticed, even though I love playing with dirt/fuzz, I always use the amp gain on my tube amps when it comes to playing regularly.
That being said, does anyone have any experience w/ these heads?
More curious about the dirt/fuzz realm, I think I have an idea of how wet effects would sound.
Cheers.

Do it. I've played guitar through a bass version and it was beautiful. So inspiring.

i have the 150
sounds so good always
by itself or with dirt
guitar and bass
comp/od all the way up to fuzzhammertime
ive played it through a 2x12,,6x12,and 2x15
it lives on the earth 215 right now
best sound overall to me is
bass>rat>150(full verb/a bit of trem )>215
i just said this somewhere else
but what i really dig about the 150
if you have certain times where noise level is an issue
it sounds good when you bring it down to bedroom vol
love that setup
i gotta play it more

As mentioned before, I'm most curious about being able to play around w/ dirt/fuzz. Give myself a better reason to keep working on pedals and mess around w/ pedal tone shaping.
So far it sounds like it would be good for it, and, if nothing else, be pretty rad to play.

Takes dirt really well. Sounds great. It's pretty much a loud, clean amp until you get it cranked to the tippy top of the dial, so it's great for pedals ESPECIALLY fuzz and dirt.
