I'm looking to get an affordable volume pedal that doesn't degrade my tone. I have an always, on compressor that buffers my signal, but I still would like to get a pedal that maintains the integrity of my sound. I was thinking of some kind of Morley, but I am open to suggestions.

Then you'll need an active volume pedal, bucko.

Any suggestions?

buy an optical volume pedal...
I use the George Dennis GD20 Mono Volume Pedal best i ever used...

other have said the Dennis or the Goodrich...

Morly nice to... But I have never used anything that has come close to the George Dennis. I was at Pedalgeek and I was complaining about my volume pedal. I had gone out and gotten a very old large ernie ball with the golden pots of years ago.. it still didn't taper right for my foot. He siad have you ever tried the George Dennis and brought it out. Instantly I found any volume I wanted effortlessly and it didn't sound to be in the chain. granted it is in the chain for sure but transparent.

the Morley mini volume doesn't degrade the tone, but i kind of hate the sweep - it's really abrupt. also, it's powered, so that's kind of annoying. i actually have one in a drawer not being used if want to try it out. no cost. if you like it, we can work something out (i would only expect to get $25, or so, anyway)

If you have an always on pedal you really shouldn't need to worry about high-end loss.

You can use the volume knob on your guitar, you know.

Not quite as easily when your guitar is a bass, and said bass has 2 separate pickup level knobs, rather than a master volume.

Based on your bandcamp I wouldn't think that you gravitated to the easy option.

Haha true, but a volume pedal would be quite useful.

This is what I do to season certain fuzzes...and even switch quickly from clean to driven tones....but putting a volume pedal after dirt & before delay yields dirty swells of a different variety.
