I'm not a user, and the only reason I haven't gotten one is online reviews complaining of excessive brightness. Would love to hear ILFer takes though...

I say John Meh-er.
Had one but I didn't like it that much, indeed it's quite bright and a bit thin sounding.
Now I have a Deluxe Electric Mistress clone in a MXR box by Gigahearts FX and it's awesome, I'm pretty sure it's also warmer and better sounding than the Hartman, it's a bit cheaper too probably.
Other notable flangers are the ADA Flanger, BYOC Flanger and the TC Electronic SCF has a nice and swirly flanger in it as well.

i have one, have hardly had any flangers though for comparison.
i'd say it's good for its size.

Just looked at that website, looks great. Very cool idea!! I'm looking for a new flanger but they're never quite exactly what I want... I have a BF-3 and it sucks, just totally lifeless and crummy....

I've actually got two of them. I like them quite a bit. They don't sound thin to me.
I really like it because it self-oscillates pretty easily. You can set it so it just goes on its own or so that it feeds back when you send it a higher gain signal.

Oh yeah, I should add that the Boss BF-2 and HF-2 are apparently also pretty nice flangers, people usually don't like the BF-3 as much.
Another really cool flanger I forgot to mention is the Ibanez FL99.

My Gigahearts FX Deluxe Electric Mistress is based on a 15V Madbean clone I think, so maybe someone else can build one too, though I'd definitely wholeheartedly recommend Ian as he's a great duder who did a great job. ;) :)

The Mooer does a nice oscillation indeed, my Gigahearts FX one doesn't do that but I think with some adjustment on the trimpots it could, I should ask Ian about that.

I have an Eleclady and I wouldn't say it sounds thin at all but it is quite bright and I do perceive a bit of loss of low end. However, that's the case with a lot of analogue modulation effects that I've tried and its not really noisy like the other flanger I have at the moment (Guyatone FL-3).

The Boss BF-2 is probably the flanger I've enjoyed using most but I prefer smaller pedals and I mostly used the BF-2 for chorus effects.

Thanks duder!
But it was just a jam. We don't have the same bassist anymore. So this is history
But whatever, the Eleclady sounds very good for 40 EUR :thumb:

The mooer pedals should be cheaper. Just sayin.

They've been "discovered" - just search around for the next cheapo MIC pedals that sell for what Moeers used to.

They're out there, I saw a ton of small Mooeresque stuff for $40ish US on a couple of the big order direct sites.

I opted to upgrade my Quadraverb to a + for $15 instead.
