Hello all, first time poster here. I've been lurking this board for a while and decided to finally make a post. I've been absolutely in love with/using the hell out of my new (1974) Fender Blender, this pedal is just unreal. I couldn't be happier with the sound of it. My only problem seems to be using it with my wah pedal...it seems like the fuzz pedal is just so intense and buzzing away that the wah pedal spits out modulated noise more-so than the "wah" sound it normally gives me.

Quick rundown of my rig:
1987 Gibson Explorer
(early 80s) Laney AOR 100
1980 Morley Tel-Ray Power Wah
1974 Fender Blender

I tried running into fuzz first wah second, and wah first fuzz second. I tried running the fuzz through the effects loop when I originally got the AOR but apparently that fried some resistor in my head. The guitar repairman told me to keep any sort of fuzz or distortion out of the AOR effects loop because it runs so hot. Lesson learned. Now my only options are running it in line and I can't get that to vibe with that combination. I'm wondering if maybe there's a way to set-up 2 a/b switches with one set-up as a slave and just run the Fender Blender through channel A and run a different fuzz that works with my (powered on) wah on channel B?

Yeah, you can try running them in parallel. It will give for a much different sound though.

Would a buffer do something?
I feel like I see them mentioned a lot when it comes to vintage fuzzes in chains.

I tried running my boss tuner in between the pedals because I had read somewhere that it would neutralize whatever weird oscillation is going on between the fuzz and wah. It didn't do anything for me, still sounded exactly the same.

I'm thinking of maybe picking up an EQ pedal and running directly to that, then have a Y splitter coming out of that which would split off to (A) Fender Blender and (B) DAM Meathead and my wah, both of which would go into an A/B/Y pedal right before my amp. In my head I feel like this should work...but I've never messed around much with pedal chains at all, so any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I've been researching different forums and stuff for a while and can't really seem to come up with any solid answers

Yep. The output impedance of the wah is fucking up your fuzz. Says I. If you like your wah you could get the foxrox buffer installed in it.

Can you recommend any? It works with my DAM Meathead pedal and that thing gets pretty gnarly, but the Fender Blender doesn't vibe with it

I've never heard of this until now, this seems very interesting... Do you know how easy they are to install?
