I can't get into it. I've dug one or two pop tunes before. I remember when I was younger I liked "larger than life" by the backstreet boys....whether it was the song or the fact they were all gundam-like robots....I have no clue.

But idk this jesse song doesn't top "It's tearin' up my heart" by nsync.

Oh and my favorite boy band will always be blink 182.

on a related note, i have been genuinely into the entire lady gaga album lately (minus the "pokerface" song) the end of the album especially gets good. pop is not evil.

I have to admit, that Rhianna song gets me all warm and oogy. The big "just-grindy-enough" synths help, but I also love the fact that she manipulates the word "umbrella" for musical effect rather than go for the usual diva-trills.

And now I'm going to go listen to some Mastodon...

Oh is that what Rihanna says??? Lol.....I hate new rnb and I hate gangsta rap and Jay Z sooo much.....but I know good music when I hear it and Rihanna is not bad. She just needs to not socialize with such musical rubbish such as Jay z or Timbaland.

I go to sound engineering school and the moron that sat next to me was way way way too into Jay z and other crap.

i think everyone probably likes a few songs that they can't justify. something just inexplicably draws you in. don't try to explain it, just go with it.

and as for lady gaga, i have a weakness for hotness, when i see a video with some cuteness in it, i can't help but like the song. i'm weak, what can i say.

Whoa! Everyone is turning into.... Pop slaves!!! Pop is good sumtimes - Blur and Gorillaz are classified as pop, the latter as dark pop.
