I owned a used Echoczar and Angel Baby for a hot second, got it on trade. Amazing sounding analog delay and very feature heavy. That said, I didn't feel it was worth it so I sold it off on TGP. There's like a 5 year wait if you buy new so the market is full of demand.

i'm glad i don't want either of 'em. just curious about 'em.

The Halophaze is really the only one I ever had any GAS for. But I just can't justify 5 bills and a 3-year wait for one.

Nah dude. 3 years straight up. Didn't Nad get one of these recently too? His wait time finally came up.

I find that crazy. If I was dropping $500 on a pedal I'd expect it asap, and 3 years is waaay too long. I'm absolutely capricious enough to have sold everything I own and changed my mind about the expensive pedal at least 5 times by then, so I could never commit.

The way I understand it is that is the waiting list time. You don't have to pay until your time comes up on the list. So really, you would have 3 years to save up if you wanted. You may have to put a deposit down though. Not sure as I wouldn't buy one either. Looks cool though. Wish Excane would do a god damn demo of them...grumble. Jeff, where are you???????

The wait is different depending on the pedal, no deposit necessary so your money won't be tied up until it's ready. So it's like any other preorder just with no commitment

Yea the guy that makes them is a character but I don't know if its like a part time thing for him which could explain the long wait times. But whatever he doesn't take any money up front and does make high quality stuff. Aside from price I don't think I've ever heard a complaint from his pedals.

I think it's one of those things. If you drop $500 on something you waited 3 years for you don't LET yourself dislike it.
