laney super lead amp?

a friend of mine has one from the 80s and wants to trade it to me.

I've only played one Supergroup and it ruled. Loud and clean by today's standards similar to an old Marshall but Laney took it in more of a Hiwatt direction. That was my impression. And it was loud as all get out.
