Ive sucessfully avoided buying new gear for quite some time and in turn saved quite a bit of money but 2014 is already looking to turn that dream to dust...

Yeah, I think so. Tera Melos described it as the "Siamese Dreams-era Smashing Pumpkins" sound which was an op-amp muff iirc.

Was just listening and not watching the video if the patch bay and had to rewind the intro to find the heavy fuzz which was the terminal.
