What other internet forums do you frequent? I used to do a bunch, but I think I've narrowed it down to this forum, HCFX, and the animeondvd.com forums.

I haunt this place and hcfx exclusively...I lurk around HCAF and TGP on occasion (and for the crazy emporium deals)

Used to hang aroun UG a bit, but that place can get quite often.

I frequent HCFX, the gear page, and Ultimate-Guitar's buy sell trade forums.

I'm on this one the most though.

Uh... I kinda used to hang out on the Fuzzhugger forum, but I'm guessing that it's kind of moved here now.

This place and Talkbass every day.

HCFX when I'm really bored. I find that HCFX is not a good place to go if you want focused discussion, as 90% of the threads are OT. It especially blows my mind when they have these huge threads talking about guitars and amps in the effects forum. Its too hard to click on the forum right above fx if you want to talk about amps or guitars? WTF

As someone who frequents hcfx I have to disagree...the community is very different from HCAF or HCEG. Each one is its own tiny world so its cool.

HCFX loves pedals of course, and any music drenched in delays and reverb.

HCAF loves heavier music and for some odd reason, guns. Every time I peek in there they are talking about guns the way we fuzz nuts talk about pedals...it was kinda scary.
I'm not getting into gun control rights issues or anything but its just kinda weird how casually they fapped over devices you are suppose to kill people with.

Agreed, which is why it drives me nuts when in the mood to read relevant threads about fx

The problem (and just speaking about amps and fx here, i don't hang around the guitar side) is very specific tastes.

The amp guys will tear you a new one if you don't play pointy guitars with active pickups through an engl/mesa/peavey and play heavy music.
fx forum will shit on you if you don't play a jazzmaster/tele though a fender clean amp for post-rock-alternative-indie music
Me? I like them all so I'm always out of place in both foums. Pedals are just more fun to talk about

Perhaps the forums should be split by musical tastes but that just opens up a whole other can of worms
