New old rack day, yay me

In the never-ending quest to complete the perfect 1992 project studio, I bought myself a couple presents before that holiday thing.

Thanks to the wonders of Snowpocalypse and crappy shipping, toys have arrived.

I am now the snickering owner (who is too busy playing with toys to fix the tower of ugly right now) of a truly battered Alesis Midiverb 2 (who sacrificially gave up the #8 button in transit, I'll reinstall it someday, I promise) and a Quadraverb.

Ugly, grainy dated verbs and effects galore to add to my digital wonderland of fun.

Lo-fi many second gated blooming reverb is worth the cosmetic hell, and it's amazing what under a hundred bucks will buy these days.

Certainly wouldn't want them as my only effects, but there's no damn chance of that.

Plush frog to keep the bits in, otherwise they'll stream all over and be crushed.

Now to await the upgrade eprom to add the truly ugly, nasty period digital ringmod.

This is relevant to my interests. I'm sporadically looking for a MVII but it never quite pans out.

They're cheap and all over, GC's used site has a ton.

Nobody sadly wants them.
