Randy's Revenge versions

Can anybody tell me what the difference is between the v1 and v2 Fairfield Circuitry Randy's Revenge? I've been keeping an eye out for one but usually the people selling them can't tell me which version they have. All I've been able to gather through internet sleuthing is that they look the same but the circuit was redesigned to be easier to assemble and some features were added. What features are never specified though. :idk:

He added a few options for expression control via internal dipswitches and, Ithink, he added more range on the frequency knob.

Yep! So now V2 can control other CV pedals.

Yep, everything said in this thread so far is true.

Should be easy enough to tell. If you open the pedal up, switching options will give the newer version away.

I'm pretty sure Guillaume said somewhere what some of the differences are. In addition to what's already been said here, I'll add that, to my ears anyway, the old version sounds somewhat warmer than the newer one. You can't go wrong with either one though. They both sound fantastic. Obviously, if CV control is important to you, look to get a V2.
