received a masf possessed pedal today, but i cannot get it to power up. tried wall warts, pp2, nothing works. what's weird is that no matter how many times i press the bypass i cannot get a clean signal to go through. you know, even if a pedal isn't connected to power in bypass the clean signal will still go through.
any ideas? i'm guessing its back to the store for a replacement.
thanks in advance

Sorry to hear that. I got a Possessed last year that worked fine for a day, then it started doing basically the same as yours. I got a replacement from the dealer, and all is well. I think Behndy has had good luck with his also, but I have read about MASF having some QC issues in the past. Maybe yours is from an older run before they worked out the kinks? It's a rad pedal, and worth getting a working version if you can.

Thanks for the info. Its a real bummer but QC problems happen. I'm going to try another and keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks again

Thanks for the input, that's reassuring.

just wanted to give props to Tone Factor, whom I bought my masf pedals from. They replied to hold onto the pedal as a replacement was on the way to them, which they'll check out first before sending onto me along with a prepaid shipping box to return the defective unit in. Seems pretty cool, and saves me time with shipping.

good stuff. like Blankie said, a bunch of the earlier ones just quit on people.
i've had two for more than a year now with no problems though.

Thanks for the input. The Ma.s osc03 I ordered at the same time seemed fine. Then i did a video, and was about to make another when one of the switches wasn't working.......

.......was just a dying battery

I'm pretty excited about the possessed

That's good to hear. I've been having a most interesting time with the particle and my drum machines. LovIn these new textures
