i have a squier thinline vintage modified tele.
this one right here:
http://www.fender.com/squier/series/vin ... ard-black/

it really is a very great cheap guitar and the neck pickup is super gloomy sounding.

i really want a crunchy pickup in it. are there any p90's that are tele bridge sized?
i do not have a lot of money so around 50 is all i can do. i have seen the fralin's but those are too much for me:/

helpmeout!

I haven't seen too many non-boutique bridge sized tele p90s. I was going to suggest Creamery tele bridge 90 but that's 75 pounds

I think BG pups has what you need but he just stopped doing anything but p90s. Still does the old stuff as a custom order. Might do it but I can't remember if he offered that.

Porter does a set of P90s (they call them T90s).
I'm putting them in this week, so I'll report back if you're interested!

Okay, so, after installing them and playing for about 20 minutes, I'm absolutely floored by how good these sound. They strike me as a bit growlier than most P90s I've played...Not muddy in the least, and nice and responsive to playing dynamics.
I put in the neck and bridge pair with a SD stacked humbucker in middle position. Sounds soooo good.
I'll try to record a demo of them over the next day or two!
