I don't like this combined forum section. :(

do what you gotta do but I don't feel I'd post a new topic here because I'd feel it'd probably just get lost in the mix.

Bummer. And I thought the art/literature being mixed in with general discussion was disappointing.

I guess I can just hang out in the company forums.

I'm not wild about this either.

I think it will get very confusing very fast.

I much prefer the old way.

Change for the better is one thing but change isn't always better.

Gear, DIY, Music and General Discussion should be separated.

gotta say, me either. Sorry.

DIY is different from gear, which is different from music, which is different from "Hey, dood, what up."

But then we have loads of different companys with like 4 topics in each.

EDIT: NOT dissing any of the makers here, of course.

And yes Visual art isn't gear, DIY or music.
I'd like to see that one back too.

And yes I'm bitchy tonight.

We fear change.

I know it's a big change, this consolidation, but I promise it'll make a lot more sense in a few weeks. :excellent:

Very ominous...or maybe it means we just need to grow into it :whoa:
In Devi we trust I suppose...

The forums change all the time. You should know that by now.

i dunno it seems kind of silly to complain about the usability of something we ain't payin' for. :idk: since the forum got shifted from "devi ever fx" to "i love fuzz" it makes more sense (to me) that the appearance be shifted more towards the pedal maker forums.

With all the different forums, the talk seemed slower...with everything going on in the General forum, it seems like there's several great conversations and topics going on! :)

I speak my mind and express my opinions openly. You should know that by now.

Seeing as I am a user, it seems the usability of a forum would be important to me, I think that gives me enough right to express an opinion. I'm not boycotting the forum, I just preferred the alternative because it was easier to find specific threads. I don't care if it goes either way...

I didn't mean for it turn into a new facebook layout drama.

EDIt: i think I'm just gonna bookmark the cool threads like 'post your pedal board' and stuff.

I totally agree with pumpkin pieces. As users we should be able to try to make the forum better for everyone, it doesn't matter if you're paying for it.
Thinking that you can only change stuff you pay for or you possess is prety retrograd imho.
Collaboration is the key :ewok: :ewok: :ewok: :ewok: :ewok:
