I got one of these today for my birthday and am damn impressed :!!!: It actually works pretty damn good for doom, a lot more lowend then i was thinking it would have and it sort of has that supercollider distortomuff feel to it, its still pretty tight. Its not gonna replace my SC but its gonna be on my Doom board for an added chuggable fuzz.

Not bad at all for like 25 bucks :thumb:

I was curious about it once but never got it. Is it very scooped?

I have one. It definitely isn't scooped, more midsish. Its kinda somewhere in between mids and scooped. Can get good amounts of chug out of it. Its currently off my board, but I might use it as the genesis of a new small board I wanna make.

Just got one. A bit tame for a fuzz, but doesn't suck. Lots of output available for driving stuff down the line. Cleans up pretty well with good note definition. I need to mess with it some more, but pleasantly surprised.

(Also got the Fab Distortion, which is a Nobels ODR clone. Very nice. I need to compare it to some stuff to find a good way to accurately describe it, but it's a good middle-of-the road sort of distortion and that is in no way a slam. I think I'll be using it a lot. I've had the Fab Overdrive and Fab Metal, too, and the Distortion is by far my favorite.)

Every Danelectro fuzz or distortion I've played can get some good chugga-chugga. I got an old broken French Toast a while back. I replaced the power jack and when I plugged it in I was shocked how mean it could sound when dialed in right. I've got an old Fab Tone that I adore. I can't buy new Danelectro in good conscience (mock me if you want) but I'll get em used and love em.
