When all of your gear breaks?

I'm not a careless person, but so many of my things have just decided to crap out on me all at once!

2 Mackie PA speaker - In the shop because no sound comes out of them.
Line6 m9 - Pixels don't show up on the display, the backlight still works and sounds still come out, but I can't see any of the parameters.
Wounded Paw Blender v4 - Loops A and C sometimes don't send a signal unless I stomp real hard on them.
Warwick Thumb5 - Electronics are picking up radio frequencies and all three knobs are very scratchy.
Fender Pbass - Input jack is messed up, something with the wiring.
Fearful 15/6/1 cab - No sound out of the 15, only the 6 and 1. I presume another wiring issue.
Fender Rumble 12x1 and 2x8 cabs - both have started producing an obnoxious buzzing sound that comes from the back panel, I taped sponges to them to dampen it, but this can't be normal.

All of these things have started acting up in the last 4 weeks.
I've managed to make my rig work with other gear, but I'm down to bare essentials. I know some of these things I could fix myself if I owned a soldering iron, but I'm so broke at the moment I can neither afford to fix them nor buy the tools to fix them til at least next month.

So does anyone have some advice on some easy fixes or share in my frustrations that when it rains it pours?

I wouldn't know how to address the problems of the first three pieces, but the others sound like they could be easy fixes, so don't feel overwhelmed!

Warwick Thumb5: maybe shielding issues/capacitance? Spray the pots with Deoxit and if it has a pickguard see about getting some copper tape.
Fender Pbass: break out the soldering iron, make new and clean connections. One of the washers could be severing the connection from twisting around, that happens to my P bass sometimes.
Fearful: i dunno actually
Fender Rumble: Is it a constant buzz regardless of anything being played, or only when you hit notes? screws and stuff might have been loosened a bit from the vibration, would definitely give you a buzzing sound.

I know these feelings. In fact, shit like this is why I know how to fix things now. One of your friends probably has a soldering iron. Get to getting.

I would invest in De-oxit, soldering station, Fuhrman power conditioner, and maybe make sure everything isn't exposed to to much dust.

The buzzing cabs could be a result of wood panels coming loose. Some clamps and ca glue will fix that up.

Fuck mackie.

I bought a pair of mackies new for $2k and one has crapped out twice and the other once. They aren't being mistreated either. I can has qc issues?

Everything breaking is a good excuse to get new gear though.

When all your gear breaks: Buy more gear and the starts of DIY projects, break more gear, then start into some mild repairs and scratch the surface of the DIY backlog, then get some more gear, and before you know it things will look like my music room.

Yeah, when it rains it pours. I ended up blowing both of my cabs within about a month of each other. Thankfully jrmy had a cab he wasn't using, otherwise I would have been stuck DI'ing for a few gigs. Hopefully Christmas money will be enough to fix them.

Yup, and it saved my ass. I hope to be able to give it back in a few weeks.

So like hard work and learning and shit... Not really interested. Those who brought the gypsy curse: how do I lift such a spell?
